Mary Lai has a B.F.A. in Graphic Design and prior to her visual art journey, the seasoned designer built a career in New York for a decade as a fashion accessories designer, including an award-winning namesake handbag collection.
With over 20 years of art and design experience, Lai is known for her dynamic compositions, rich use of color, and evocative narratives. She has a notable list of art collectors and has collaborated with prominent brands including W Hotel, HBO Max, Vayner x St. Jude, American Express, SXSW, NBA Lakers InThePaint and Snapchat. She has exhibited at leading art fairs and galleries locally and internationally. With a commitment to creating art with impact, Lai continues to explore and push the boundaries of her artistic expression.
