OKKIO  is pleased to present Mei-Tsen Chen's solo exhibition with Paris-based artist Mei-Tsen Chen.

In Chen Mei-Tsen’s work, the map becomes a dream which connects and weaves together disparate networks. She depicts cities which change and evolve both physically and mentally, investigating the relationship of their growth on the artist’s own identity. 

As cities pulse with energy and human activity, blue becomes the constant, the grounding force in a world where everything else is in flux. It is within this interplay between movement and stillness, between dissonance and harmony, that Chen discovers an elusive Utopia , a place where even in the entanglements of life, there is a quiet equilibrium to be found.
